The Village of Woodstock
Ladies Home Journal calls Woodstock Village, "The Prettiest Small Town in America". It is pure New England with a covered bridge, parkland, historical buildings, and plenty of shops, galleries and eateries to make a walk through the village worth hours of enjoyment.
Marsh Billings Rockefeller National Historic Park
The nation's only national park to focus on conservation history and the evolving nature of land stewardship is located right in Woodstock. On part of the property is the Billings Farm & Museum which has a working dairy and interpretive exhibits of rural Vermont life and agricultural history. The Park interprets the history of conservation with tours of the Rockefeller mansion and the surrounding 550-acre forest. |

Billings Farm
The Billings Farm & Museum is a living museum of Vermont's rural past, as well as a working dairy farm. The farm dates back to 1871, when owner Frederick Billings, a lawyer, railroad entrepreneur, and philanthropist began importing cows from the Isle of Jersey. His farm prospered, and today, is still a working dairy, which operates with this nationally renowned farm life museum. |
Vermont Institute of Natural Science Raptor Center
The Center, located within Woodstock, is New England's leading raptor care and education facility, giving visitors insight into over 20 species of birds of prey. Open every day from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm. 802-280-2223 |

Calvin Coolidge State Historical Site
Located less than half an hour from Woodstock is Calvin Coolidge's birth place. The site includes an exhibit of Calvin Coolidge's life and presidency, the preserved buildings surrounding the site including a general store, and the place where Calvin Coolidge was sworn in as President of the United States. |

Quechee Gorge State Park
Often called Vermont's Grand Canyon, this scenic wonder is also within less than half an hour from Woodstock. The Ottauquehee River carves a very deep gorge through which visitors can hike and enjoy the river. |
Simon Pearce Store and Restaurant
In nearby Quechee, you can watch glass blowing exhibits, shop, or dine over the river in the restaurant operated by the world famous producer of fine and artistic glass. |

Suicide Six Ski Area
Located in the adjacent Town of Pomfret, the New York Times said, Suicide Six offers the joys of big-mountain skiing with few of the headaches. The area offers 23 trails, including a new double black diamond glade trail and a snowboarding halfpipe. |
